Lecture
Dental Image, Computer Tomography, Dental Implants
In the last few years there had been multiple advances in dental medicine, this advances had come with new functional, aesthetic and time reduction demands from our patients. To face this demands odontology offers new materials, renovated implant designs, advanced software and new integration criteria. During the hole odontology history, it had been very difficult to accomplish previous plantings with real surgeries with our patients. With the introduction of Digital Work Flow we are achieving the integration of tomographic images, STL files, surgical and prosthetic design. All these tools allow us to face our patients demands with medical criteria.

Learning Objectives :
  1. Importance of the Computed Tomography in the dental diagnostic
  2. Knowledge of different software to vinculate computer tomography’s with STL files
  3. Importance of these new technologies to incorporate biological and prosthetics criteria in implant surgeries
  4. Direct Relation between prosthetic planning and implant position in high exigency aesthetic and functional areas
  5. Importance of the CT scan in the alveolar ridge research
