Digitalisation in Orthodontic Practice
In the past few years the practice of orthodontics has changed significantly. Beside the still growing interest for orthodontic treatment, increasing part of treated adults and demand for esthetic appliances, the digital technologies penetrated into the daily practice of most orthodontists. Today, the documentation and patients files are created, evaluated and saved mostly by digital means. Starting by e-card check in of patients, through digital cameras taking pictures, digital x-ray machines and CBCT’s, intraoral scanning replacing classical impressions, softwares for measuring virtual casts and cephalograms, for designing orthodontic appliances such as aligners or splints for indirect bonding of braces.

Learning Objective :
  1. Learn how to incorporate digital technologies into the daily practice of an orthodontist.
